How do I extract just the audio (MP3) from a video?

Why is there a 300 MB limit (80 MB on mobile)?
Conversion uses your device's own memory. Above that, the browser may freeze — and we'd rather warn you in advance than let it crash. For larger files, an installed program handles it better.
How long does video conversion take?
Extracting MP3 is fast (seconds to a few minutes). Converting video to WebM re-encodes frame by frame and takes longer — better for short videos.
Does iPhone MOV convert to MP4 without quality loss?
In most cases yes: the content is just repackaged from .mov to .mp4, without re-encoding — instant and lossless. If the video uses an incompatible codec, the tool re-encodes automatically.
Why does it download ~31 MB the first time?
It's the conversion engine (FFmpeg compiled for browser). Downloads once, stays in cache, and that's why nothing needs to be sent to any server.
