Compress image online
Keep photos light for forms, emails and WhatsApp. Everything happens in your browser — fast, free and without uploading anything to the cloud.
Processed in your browser — your files never leave your computer.
How it works
-
Drop your photos here
Drag files onto the dotted area or click to choose. Accepts JPG, PNG and WebP — up to 30 photos at a time.
-
Choose the quality
Move the quality slider and see the size estimate instantly, calculated from your first photo. 80% is the sweet spot for most cases.
-
Download the lighter photos
Download one by one or all at once in a .zip. Nothing was uploaded anywhere — it all happened in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Compression happens inside your browser, on your device. You can even turn off Wi-Fi after the page loads and the tool will still work.
Does the photo lose quality?
A little — that's how compression works. At 80%, the difference is practically invisible to the naked eye, and the file gets much smaller. Want more or less? Just move the slider and check the estimate.
Does it work for government website forms?
Yes, that's one of the most common uses. Many public forms have file size limits; compress your photo here and upload the lighter version.
How many photos can I compress at once?
Up to 30 per batch, with a maximum of 50 MB each — a limit designed to keep your browser from freezing. No account, no queue, no watermark, and you can repeat as many times as you want.
What formats are supported?
JPG, PNG and WebP, the most common image formats on the internet. iPhone photos in HEIC format have their own tool: HEIC to JPG.
Why is it free?
CANIVETE is supported by discreet ads on the pages. The tools have no limit and no paid version — it's genuinely free.
