Frequently asked questions
I typed a whole text with caps lock on — can it be saved?
Yes, and that is the classic case here. Paste the text, click "Sentence case" and it goes back to normal: all lowercase, with the first letter of each sentence capitalized. Check proper names afterwards — those the tool cannot guess.
Are accents preserved?
Yes — the conversion uses proper locale rules, so "ção" becomes "ÇÃO" and back without losing anything. Emoji, numbers and punctuation pass through intact.
What is the difference between "Each Word" and "Sentence case"?
"First Letter Of Each Word" capitalizes every word — useful for titles and product names. "Sentence case" capitalizes only after periods, exclamation and question marks — normal paragraph text.
What is aLtErNaTiNg for?
It is the mocking-text of memes — it alternates lowercase and uppercase letter by letter. Serious use: none; fun: guaranteed.
Is there a size limit?
No fixed limit — the transformation is instant even on texts hundreds of pages long, because it runs right in the browser.
Is my text sent to any server?
No. The transformation happens in your browser, on your machine — paste contracts, exams, state secrets. Nothing leaves here.
