Frequently asked questions
Does it work for official documents?
It depends on the issuing agency. The photo comes out at the standard 3x4 cm (or 5x7 cm) size at 300 DPI, which is what most forms ask for — but each agency has its own rules for background, framing and how recent the photo must be. Check the official requirements before using it.
How do I print the 10x15 sheet?
Take the sheet file to any print shop or photo lab (or a photo kiosk) and ask for a regular 10x15 cm (4x6 in) photo print, with no auto-crop or fitting. Then just cut along the dashed lines. The 3x4 size yields 8 photos per sheet; 5x7 yields 4.
Is the AI white background any good?
For most well-lit photos, yes — the AI cuts out the person and places a white background before cropping. If it looks off (loose hair, busy background), take another photo against a light wall. If the AI fails, the photo is generated without the white background — you are never blocked.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. Framing, cropping and even the white-background AI run inside your browser, on your device. The only download is the AI engine itself (once) — never your photo.
What photo should I use?
A front-facing one, looking at the camera, with even light on the face, no cap or sunglasses. Phone photos work well — just avoid very dark, blurry or angled shots.
What is the difference between 3x4 and 5x7?
3x4 cm is the standard document photo size in Brazil — IDs, badges, résumés. 5x7 cm is larger and shows up in some public exams and specific documents. When in doubt, the form or agency states which one it requires.
