    Make a printable booklet (PDF)

Drop the handout, script or zine and take a PDF with the pages already shuffled into booklet order: just print double-sided, fold in half and done.

Processed in your browser — your files never leave your computer.

    How it works

    1. Drop your PDF here

Drag a PDF up to 100 MB and 200 pages onto the dotted area, or click to choose. Password-protected PDFs are not accepted — remove the password first, in the app that created the file.

    2. Click "Make booklet"

The tool reorders the pages two per sheet, in imposition order. If pages are missing to complete a multiple of 4, it adds blank pages at the end and tells you how many.

    3. Print, fold and staple

Download the "-livreto.pdf" and print it double-sided, flipping on the SHORT edge. Fold the whole stack in half — the full instructions appear next to the result.

    Frequently asked questions

How do I print the booklet?

Three steps. First: print the PDF double-sided choosing "flip on short edge" in the print dialog — that option is what keeps the back side upright. Second: fold the whole stack in half, first sheet on the outside. Third: if you like, staple along the fold — two staples hold it well. The same instructions appear on screen, next to the download button.

How many pages can the PDF have?

Up to 200 pages and 100 MB — beyond that the browser would freeze. PDF over the limit? Split it into parts with the Split PDF tool and make one booklet per section.

Why were blank pages added at the end?

Every booklet needs a page count that is a multiple of 4: each sheet carries 4 pages — 2 on the front, 2 on the back. When your PDF does not close that math, the tool completes it with blank pages at the end and tells you exactly how many it added.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

No. Remove the password in the app that created the PDF and come back — the tool warns you right away when it finds a protected PDF.

    What sheet size comes out?

An A4 PDF becomes a landscape A4 sheet with two A5 pages side by side — the classic A5 booklet. Other sizes become a sheet twice the width of the original page, each page scaled and centered on its half.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The assembly happens inside your browser, on your device. You can even turn off Wi-Fi after the page loads.
