Shrink a photo to a target KB size
The form says "100 KB max" and your photo is 4 MB? Pick the target, drop the photo and download it at the right size. All in your browser, no uploads.
Processed in your browser — your files never leave your computer.
How it works
-
Drop your photos here
Drag files onto the dotted area or click to choose. Accepts JPG, PNG and WebP — up to 30 photos at a time.
-
Pick the maximum size
70 KB, 100 KB, 250 KB, 500 KB, 1 MB — or type the exact limit the website demands. The tool adjusts quality and dimensions on its own until it fits.
-
Download at the right size
The photo comes out as JPG, under the limit you chose, ready to attach. Nothing was uploaded anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work for government and visa application forms?
Yes — that is the most common use. Many official portals limit photo uploads to 70 KB or 100 KB. Pick the target, drop your photo and submit the version you download here.
Does it work for exam registrations and ID photos?
Yes. Exam registrations, job applications and ID systems usually require photos between 70 KB and 500 KB. Just pick the limit from the instructions and shrink.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The shrinking happens inside your browser, on your device. You can even turn off Wi-Fi after the page loads.
Is the face still recognizable at 70 KB?
Yes. The tool lowers quality gradually and, if needed, reduces dimensions — but it stops at the first point where the photo fits the target, keeping as much sharpness as possible.
Why does the photo come out as JPG?
Because JPG is the format every form accepts and the one that compresses photos of people and documents best. PNG and WebP go in, but the output is always JPG.
How many photos at once?
Up to 30 per batch, 50 MB each. No account, no queue, no watermark — repeat as many times as you like.
